Jordie Kindervater is in his second year as Assistant Director for Development. Kindervater is a member of the major gifts team while also contributing to the day to day operation for all Blue & White Fund annual giving initiatives. He currently serves as the development liaison for men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, swimming & diving and track & field.

During Kindervater’s first year as assistant director, the BWF experienced a 34% increase in cash collections, securing their second consecutive record breaking fundraising year. During FY16, the BWF also reached all time high’s with overall BWF and Block B membership.

Kindervater previously served as a Development Assistant with the Blue & White Fund, where he contributed to the launch and development of the Block B “500 for 500” Letter Winners Campaign as well as the Rise Up! Annual Campaign. During his time the Block B experienced a 67% membership increase, coupled with an overall Blue & White Fund membership increase of 137% which included a 69% increase in cash collections.

Prior to transitioning into development, Kindervater served as the Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach at The University at Buffalo for three years, followed with a year and a half stint as the Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach at The University of Central Florida. At UB, his coaching career was highlighted with a pair of MAC Regular Season Titles in 2010 & 2012 and earning 2011 ITA Northeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors. At UCF, Kindervater contributed to landing the program’s first ever top 20 nationally ranked recruiting class in 2012.

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Kindervater earned his B.S. from The University of Alabama where he was a four year letter winner and three year captain for the men’s tennis team. Kindervater also recently graduated with his MSA from Canisius College in 2012.

Jordie and his wife Sarah reside in Clarence with their daughter Claire and two Boston Terriers Gilly and Gabby.
